Crew Factors in Flight Operations X: Alertness Management in Flight Operations Education module  (2001)
Abstract Header
This report is another in a series of research reports from AMES Research Center on the subject of fatigue and jet lag in airline flight operations. However, the focus of the report is a bit different from that of the others- rather than being a scientific study of the causes and effects of fatigue and jet lag, it is a compendium of useful tip and personal management strategies for better coping with such causes and effects. The information provided here is intended to be used by airline flight crew members to help them develop effective countermeasures for the debilitating effects of fatigue.
