Validating Oculometric Technologies as Human-System Evaluation Tools (2005)
The poster summarized the lab's work in responding to new human factors challenged presented by the President's Exploration Initiative and identified in the Bioastronautics Critical Path Roadmap. Current progress in empirical validation of the laboratory's oculometric techniques for using eye movements as a real-time measure of perception and performance was presented. The poster also described the laboratory's technology maturation plan including continued laboratory validation, transfer to the Ames Intelligent Spacecraft Interface Systems (ISIS) laboratory's simulator and identified future applications of oculometric technologies.
