Two-dimensional Localization With Spatially and Temporally Congruent Visual-auditory Stimuli  (2005)
Abstract Header
This research has important implications for the use of virtual environments because these devices provide users with stimuli from multiple sensory sources, including vision, audition, and sometimes touch and kinesthesis as well. Furthermore, because these modalities do not always agree with one another, it is important to determine the perceptual and behavioral response to such intersensory mismatches.
