Human Systems Integration Division Researcher wins National Space Biomedical Research Institute (NSBRI) Award

Apr 29 2009

A proposal by Dr. Leland Stone and a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and engineers in the Human Systems Integration and Space Bioscience Divisions at Ames Research center was selected to be one of twelve meritorious winners for "Research and Technology Development to Support Crew Health and Performance in Space Exploration Missions". The twelve winners were selected from 54 submissions received from NASA Research Announcement NNJ08ZSA002N. Proposals were openly solicited from academia, industry and government laboratories and were judged for scientific merit by non-NASA technical experts. The proposal was entitled "Robust Human-System Interface Design for Spaceflight-Induced Environments".
