RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
Project Associate, SJSU Foundation / NASA Ames 2003-current
Conducting human factors research to improve aviation safety. Lead collaborative research between NASA Ames and the Psychology Department at SJSU to investigate the effects of blood glucose levels on airline pilot performance. Tasks included: collaboration with team members and participation in regular discussions regarding project design, methodology, and logistics, presentation of project updates to Principle Investigator and team members, establishing and fostering positive relationships with external contacts, and submission of proposal to the Ames Institutional Review Board for the use of human participants. Assisted with coordination of team for data entry and met industry deadlines for the Procedure Evaluation Project.
Research Associate, SJSU Foundation / NASA Ames 1999-2002
Developed proposal, collected data, analyzed results, and completed thesis project. Compiled and organized a library database including an annotated bibliography. Assisted with, and responsible for, FAA-sponsored research including collaboration with project contacts, survey design (paper and pencil and electronic versions), collection of paper and pencil and online survey data, and data clean up.
Research Assistant, Bill Wilson Center 1996
Conducted informational interviews, collected data from adolescent residents at the center, and entered data into statistical database.

Assisted professor with undergraduate Experimental Psychology course at San Jose State University. Work included grading exams and tutoring students.
